Following the amazing results of our print auction in May, we are once again inviting contemporary Irish artists to support us by donating prints to be auctioned in aid of the KickStart Kitchen Chef Training Programme.
This Autumn, we are trying something new with an online-only print auction on the evening of Thursday October 8th. The auction will take place through the online auction platform Invaluable, accompanied by a virtual auction on the night by our much loved auctioneer George Gerard Mealy.

We ran one of our best auctions on the 14t of May in the wonderful Hen’s Teeth in Blackpitts in Dublin 8. We’ve wanted to run a show there as long as they’ve existed, and of course it didn’t disappoint, it’s such an versatile and brilliant space. It was probably George’s best performance as auctioneer too, he was on fire – and hilarious to boot!
We raised 22k on the hammer on the night, with highlights coming from Margo Banks, Begley & Bowie, Chris Long (USA), Carolyn Walsh, Peter Smyth, Omin, Morgan, Ciara O’Neill, Niall Staines, Kate Ormond O’Neill, Louise Shearer and Anna Matykiewicz.

It was our Andy’s last show at the helm and what a way to hang up his auction boots! We look forward to a new chapter on the horizon with Iris Vos taking over the reigns moving forward. We’re excited to see the idea / platform grow under her fresh energy and innovative approaches. Watch this space….
