SumGood is a new social enterprise based in Dublin, Ireland. We put long term positive social impact over short term profits and are on a mission to create an innovative organisation that raises funds through positive and exciting events / campaigns, in order to fund life changing programmes.
Inequality in all its forms is our enemy, and we believe we can flip the switch by creating easy to access learning and training platforms, all powered by a hard working network of individuals and companies who share the same desire to improve the lives of those being left behind in our society.
Education, training, skills development and creating jobs will be at the heart of our programmes, such our The KickStart Kitchen Chef Training Programme.
We are giving 100% of our focus to this one programme, as we believe it can grow to help a huge number of those who deserve a second chance and who wish to become masters of their own destinies again.
Our inaugural programme – The KickStart Kitchen – offers free professional chef training, work placements and networking opportunities to those currently facing a barrier to employment.
The plan for 2025 is to run the next pilot phase. In 2026 we will run back to back 8 week programmes in The Spade Enterprise Centre (shared kitchen space) in Smithfield, Dublin. In 2027 we will open our own dedicated restaurant which will run a wide range of training courses during the days, and by night becomes the slickest pop up space in the city. Get involved today and help us create something truly special…
