The KickStart Kitchen Chef Training Programme aims to help those currently facing a barrier to employment by putting them through an intense month-long course while also helping them find work placements or full time jobs as entry level commis chefs.

The secondary aim is to help restaurants, hotels and catering companies in the Irish Hospitality Sector who are struggling to recruit new staff members. We will deliver trained up, enthusiastic graduates with their own uniforms, safety shoes and chef knives ready to hit the ground running in any kitchen.

For 2026-2027 we are focusing on those currently in Direct Provision Centres in or around Dublin, but if this is not you we would still love to hear from you and see if we can help you in any way.
